Rush adolescent family center

The Rush Adolescent Family Center serves a vital role in improving the physical and mental health status of children and adolescents by providing accessible, affordable prenatal and reproductive health care on the Rush campus. The comprehensive model of wellness in the AFC focuses not only on the physical care of expectant mothers and parents, but on mental health, health education, resource linkage, and asset building. The AFC provides health care to those who face significant challenges to accessing these services, including being uninsured or underinsured. These centers are in a unique position to link children and adolescents to the health care system and play a vital role in providing preventive services that support lifelong good health and success.
